Summer Fete
This year's Summer Fete was held on Saturday 5 June. It was a great family day out in the sunshine and over £3,500 was raised for the school. Thanks to everyone who helped to make this such a successful event.
Comunications Survey
During Autumn 2009 the Parent Council conducted a survey of parental views about school communications. A total of 119 responses were received and a summary of the feedback is available here. We are very grateful to the parents who responded and the survey results will be considered further by the Parent Council. Parent Council Annual Meeting 2009

Discussions on a National Representative Body for Parent Councils
Following preliminary discussion at the National Conference of Parent Councils in June 2009, a meeting was held in November 2009 to discuss further the merits of setting up a National Representative Body for Parent Councils. A report was published last year by Carole Millar Research (Views on a National Representative Body for Parent Councils) which reported on research commissioned by the Scottish Government. The aim was to identify the views of Parent Councils, and other relevant organisations, on the possible shape and character a national body to represent Parent Councils throughout Scotland. |
